I love the challenge of taking brands – from startups to lumbering giants in need of a refresh – and building them into dynamic marquee brands – from pharmaceuticals to finance, boutiques to beauty and package goods to doing good.


The most recent two years were spent generating “360 communication” campaigns for the leading pharmacy retailer, CVS. I worked with the team that created campaigns that put people at the heart of health for CVS Health, CVS Pharmacy, CVS MinuteClinic  and CVS HealthHUB.


Other notable campaigns included;

·     For J&J, taking Lactaid from a milk for only the lactose intolerant to real milk that doesn’t mess with you.

·     Essity’s global consumer product TENA…positioning it not as an incontinent brand for women, but a brand that gives women

the confidence to keep being themselves.

·     Re-invigorated travel with the “take your vacation back” campaign for Orbitz.

·   Transformed Rogaine for Women from a hair loss treatment into an important step in a woman’s hair care routine.


·     Won Amgen’s Neulasta account, in partnership with the HealthWork team and subsequently worked on Pfizer’s controversial, yet acclaimed, Viagra campaign.

·     Corporate immunotherapy (IO) assignments for Pfizer.

·   Teamed with HealthWork and CDM to take the bullying out of eczema with Eucrisa a non-steroidal topical medication used for the treatment of atopic dermatitis.


But wait…there’s more;


My career at BBDO began with the Gillette for Women account.

As the client's partner, we created the entirely new category of premium women's razors specifically designed for women (not simply a pink man's razor). 

I gave the razor a powerful name VENUS, created her tagline, Reveal the goddess in you and developed the TV/print campaigns.

Worked with partner agencies in bringing the creative vision holistically across all media including digital, PR, and in-store…with the team, reframed the act of shaving from a tedious masculine chore, to a woman’s first step in revealing her beautiful skin.

The mantra “revealing the goddess in every woman” resonated globally with consumers and built Venus into a one billion dollar mega brand.

There was also life before BBDO. I spent several years building brands at D’Arcy and Grey Advertising.

And before all of that, I confess that, as a former biology major, I would rather draw muscles than study them. The biology major morphed into a Liberal Arts Degree, then fed my right brain at Parsons School of Design for a degree in Fine Arts.


In between creating, I am also a life coach to two lovely daughters, play tennis, hike, paint, cook, garden, art direct my friends’ homes and (shhhh) listen to Howard Stern.
